Hurricanes and Tornadoes

This chart shows us the information about the hurricanes and tornadoes.

There are three main differences between hurricanes and tornadoes. Hurricanes have a higher minimum speed than tornadoes because the hurricanes are 74 mph and the tornadoes are 40 mph. But at the maximum speed tornadoes are faster than hurricanes. The second difference between hurricanes and tornadoes is the classification scale. Hurricanes have the Saffir- Simpson C1-C5 while tornadoes have the Fujita F0-F5. The third difference is duration. They can predict the hurricanes for 2-3 days for a wide area but can usually predict more exactly where a hurricane will hit 6-10 hours beforehand but tornadoes only 20 minutes or less. Tornadoes only last a few minutes, some up to a few hours, while hurricanes have 1 week average. Hurricanes start in over warm oceans on the other hand tornadoes usually start over land.

In conclusion, hurricanes and tornadoes have most of the same characteristics but there are some differences.

Car Specifications

This table shows us the specifications of four popular medium-size saloon cars. In this essay I will analyze this information.

The Volkswagen Golf is made in Germany and is the most expensive of the four cars and it costs $18, 250. Also, it has the biggest engine size at 1600cc and is the least economical as it only does 40 miles to the gallon. The Ford Focus is made in the USA and is the second most expensive car. It is priced at $15,800. However, 1400cc is the size of the engine but it does 50 miles per gallon. There are a lot of common characteristics between the Toyota Corolla and The Nissan Micra such as country of origin and the price. Both of them cost $15,550 and are made in Japan. The Toyota Corolla has an engine size of 1400cc but it does 48 miles per gallon. The Nissan Micra has the smallest size of engine, 1200cc, and it does more miles to the gallon than the others, 52.

In conclusion, the Volkswagen Golf is the most expensive and the Nissan Micra is the cheapest car of the four cars in the table.
